Before we knew it August was here and we were off to Monterey for the Historic Car Races. John was having a great time until his motor decided it didn't want to go much further. John gently brought the car into the pits and his race was over after two laps. Oh well. It was beautiful in Monterey. Our friends, Gina and Jon, Don and Diana, Keith and Shelia helped us celebrate John's birthday at the Duck Club at our hotel. It was delicious as always.
