We went camping over the weekend of May 17th. There were over 140 families camping at the campground 20 miles north of Santa Barbara. We took over the entire campground. It was our first experience going on the school campout. It was really more like glamping ( glamour camping) since we had a cabin with a kitchenette and a bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. It was a lot of fun but we had a heat wave where the temperatures were in the mid 90's all weekend. The boys really enjoyed the family games on Saturday morning. Saturday night we watched some of the talent show and then went off to make smores at a neighbors cabin. We really enjoyed looking out our window and seeing a 5 foot long snake. At least it wasn't a rattlesnake like they found two cabins down from us. We also had our own mole who spent a lot of time digging and redigging its hole.
