While John was in Florida, Nick was to make sure that Scarlett had water. When he went to fill up the water container he couldn't get water to come out of the spigot so he moved on to the next faucet to try and get water. He did not turn off the first faucet and unfortunately did not tell anyone that he didn't know how to turn it off. The faucet that he didn't get water out of was the fill faucet for the swimming pool. Cut to many hours later before his mother, me, found out that the yard was flooding and that water was shooting four feet up into the air in the front yard. This was because the drain from the backyard drains into the front street. After Benito and I got the water shut off it took about 6 hours for the water to soak into the ground and the pool stayed over filled for about 3 weeks. Nick has promised to always tell us if a faucet doesn't turn off.
