Papa turned 95 today. It was a great Friday the 13th. We had a small family dinner for him at our favorite restaurant, Guidos. There was only 19 of us for dinner which is pretty small. Papa blew out his candles and gave a short speech on what he thought was the reason for his living so long. We think it is just good genetics and his eating oatmeal almost every day. He had all of his grandchildren and 4 of his 5 great grandchildren with him to celebrate. Two of his nephews were there too. Papa received many beautiful bouquets of flowers for his birthday. This plant and orchids is from his daughter in law Catherine.
