We decided to head up to Flagstaff on the 26th at 5 in the afternoon. What a mistake. We thought everyone would still have the day off and we sat in traffic for an extra hour. We arrived in Flagstaff at 2 in the morning which became 3 with the time change. It was so cold about 11 degrees. I had to run over a big mound of snow at the end of our driveway to get the car in there. Jake, Nick and John spent a good amount of time clearing off the driveway over the next 5 days. We got to go sledding or saucering 3 times on a great hill on the other side of the golf course. Those saucers go wayyyyy too fast. I made one run on each of two days and that was more than enough for me. The boys were unstoppable. Scarlett was insane running up and down the hill chasing the ball and the boys. Gina and her girls and Bob and Laralyn with their kids came up for New Years Eve on the 30th. Bill and Danette came up on the 31st. It was a fun time and I had too much wine and needed to go to bed at 130 am . The kids stayed up playing Guitar Hero for hours. The highlight for Nick was getting to run outside in 6 degree weather in his underwear and do a wild dance. Anthony and Jake joined in on New Years Eve. They were insane but had a great time. We headed home on the 2nd and have been relaxing until we have to start school again on Monday. Bummer.
