Venice

We sailed into Venice on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We were fortunate to have a cabin on the port side of the ship and were able to sit on our own balcony as we sailed past the Lido and St. Mark's. We walked for hours through the winding streets of Venice. It was very humid and warm but we loved it. We also took a gondola ride as the sun was setting and the boys really enjoyed it. We were lucky to spend two days in Venice so we really got to do a lot of sight seeing. We stopped and had two excellent meals with wine at lunch. The boys got into it by attempting to drink out of the bottles with straws. We went by the exclusive shops. I really liked the pink gator on top of Versace's facade. We did not buy anything on their Rodeo Drive but it was fun to window shop.
