We spent the morning bowling in Culver City. Of course we keep the bumpers up so that I can look like a really good bowler. John is the only one who rarely hits the bumpers. Jake is so much fun to watch bowl. He bounces up to the line like Tigger and then throws the ball like a bocce ball and bounces off the bumpers fifteen times before he knock 8 or more pins down. Nick has more power and doesn't always use the bumpers but they are there for him just in case. He even got one strike. When we got back Jake and I cooked up a new Mexican food recipe, it was a chicken, cheese , and chile souffle casserole that tasted great. Jake also chopped up all the ingredients for guacamole and got to use a real sharp kitchen knife for the first time. It is harder than I thought trying to teach him how to cut and stir left handed, but we're both learning. Both boys spent the time after dinner chasing each other around the yard and then relaxing by the fire. They also got to visit with mom who just got back from Texas a couple of hours ago. Yeah tomorrow is a late day we get to sleep in past 615. Yeahhhhhh. The picture is of us at Yamashiro's a restaurant above the Magic Castle in Hollywood.
